Steve Wasula is an integration architect and technology consultant with nearly 30 years of experience helping organizations design, connect, and modernize their core business systems. As the founder of 5GL, he focuses on transforming how companies integrate systems using modern architecture patterns and AI-driven development.

Steve specializes in connecting platforms like Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and other mission-critical systems into a unified, scalable ecosystem. His work goes beyond traditional integrations. He designs end-to-end architectures that eliminate manual processes, reduce operational friction, and create real-time visibility across finance, sales, and operations.

Over the course of his career, Steve has led and managed large onshore, offshore, and near-shore development teams across complex enterprise initiatives. That experience has given him a clear perspective on the strengths and limitations of traditional software delivery models. Today, he applies that insight by leveraging AI tools to dramatically accelerate development, reduce dependency on large teams, and deliver high-quality integration solutions faster and more efficiently than conventional approaches.

Throughout his career, Steve has been brought in to solve complex, high-impact challenges. He has rebuilt failing integration environments, designed scalable frameworks for subscription billing and financial synchronization, and helped organizations modernize legacy systems into flexible, API-driven architectures. His recent work includes building advanced integration frameworks that process real-time events and orchestrate data across multiple platforms with reliability and precision.

Before launching 5GL, Steve was the Founder, CEO, and CTO of Stony Point, where he spent over 15 years building and leading a successful Salesforce consulting, training, and software company. Under his leadership, Stony Point grew into a recognized Salesforce partner, delivering consulting services, technical training, and AppExchange products while supporting enterprise clients across multiple industries.

Steve has also held executive roles in product development and operations earlier in his career, giving him a unique ability to align technical solutions with real business outcomes.

At 5GL, Steve works directly with clients to design integration strategies that are not only technically sound, but also faster to implement, easier to maintain, and more resilient over time. His approach is straightforward: simplify where possible, automate where it matters, and use AI to eliminate the bottlenecks that traditionally slow down integration projects.
